You can at least gain their contact information by building a compelling opt-in offer. And then utilize email marketing to follow up, build relationships, and convert them into paying clients.

Email marketing is a proven winner! Take a look at the following data from Post Future:

. There are currently over 1 BILLION Internet users globally, with 90% of them using email.

. Online firms send opt-in emails to 70% of their users.

. In response to an email offer, 82 per cent of internet shoppers have made at least one purchase.

. In response to an email, 32% of people made an immediate online purchase.

Here are ten proven email marketing methods to get you started if you're stuck for ideas on how to use email marketing to increase your profitability.

1. Offer free content to build relationships and develop a reputation.

Sending valuable, free content to your subscribers, such as an authoritative eBook, will help get to know. And trust you once you have established your trustworthiness. Your prospects of converting subscribers into long-term consumers skyrocket.

2. Announce regular offers to encourage repeat visitors.

This is also a good email marketing strategy. Once you have started collecting email addresses, you can send regular updates to your clients and subscribers, informing them about your promotions. Sending out regular discount offers is a terrific method for familiarizing your clients with you. And your site and turning them into loyal customers who will return to buy from you.

3. Hosting "Customer, Only" events

Assume you own a restaurant and have been collecting email addresses from your patrons. You may send them each an email invitation to a private wine tasting event for regular eaters only. This type of incentive is one of the most effective strategies to increase your customers' lifetime value.

If you track an online business, you may create a special page on your website for clients only and then send them an email explaining how to take advantage of the deals you advertise on that page.

4. Include promotions in appointment reminders

5. Follow up with your hottest leads

You can use email to follow up with people you've spoken with in person but haven't bought anything yet. Offer to answer any more questions they might have, and let them know you're available to talk whenever they want. This can significantly improve your chances of closing a transaction by giving your leads information they didn't expect.

6. Offer electronic "loyalty coupons."

This is an excellent strategy to encourage your current clients to purchase from you again and again. Email a coupon to each customer, which they can print and bring into your store or use on your website. Making your coupons active for a short time only is always a fantastic idea to encourage your clients to purchase from you as soon as feasible.

7. Send follow-up offers to your customers
